This is a small servo motor that turns the door internal of the HVAC housing. There is a recalibration procedure for the actuator that you can 'try' first: Place the ignition switch to the OFF position. Remove the "HVAC" fuse (located in the rear fuse block) for a minimum of 10 seconds. Re-install the HVAC fuse.

The only issue I have is the middle actuator seams to not have a white gear in it when I pull it off. If I pull the white gear off the actuator it fits perfectly on the metal post. I then recalibrate it and the air blows out the defrost as it always did and moves to the floor for a couple seconds.

Removing the glove compartment, ECU and ECU bracket accesses the air inlet servo. This motor should be held in place by 2 screws.If the air only blows from the defrost vents, your problem is a vacuum leak more than likely under the hood either to or from the vacuum tank. The vacuum tank commonly looks like a plastic ball with vacuum lines attached to it. Check for cracked lines, disconnected lines or a cracked vacuum tank. It might be that the power supply for the DIC display went bad, but the instrument cluster is an integrated unit, except for changing simple things like the stepper motors for the gauges.
