Jul 6, 2014 · 2002 Eiger 400 Carb Problems still. I'm still having problems with idling and it still backfires at low throttle. I have the carb apart again. There are three screws on the bottom by the float, 2 regular screwdriver and the bigger one I use a small wrench to back off. I've sprayed carb cleaner thru all three with the screws out.
2002 Eiger 400 carb problems. i picked up this quad that hadn't been run in 3 yrs. The oil had gas in it. the air cleaner element had gas in it - although mostly varnish after 3 yrs.
