If you call out on a key day, you'll need 8hrs of PPTO to cover the 2 points for that day. If you call out on two key days, you'll need 16hrs of PPTO. I've called out on many key days and never received any points. That includes Black Friday, Christmas Eve and New Year's. Don't ever use regular PTO for a key day.
