You're better off buying normal anti poisons from sophanem and bringing 2-3 for a trip, since the antidote doesn't protect from venom so the length of poison protection is irrelevant ... These days generally people say not to touch Zulrah until Trident, Occult, BowFa, Anguish, Torm, and Suffering. Literally ...If blood runes drop down from 302 a rune it may also be worth using sang staff. I think it could go either way. You'd need like 3 more kills/hr for the sang to be worth it, and I haven't done Zulrah with toxic trident in a while but I think that is the difference in kills/hr with stalling mage phase and tbow.I Just know bofa + crystal > blowpipe without masori and blowpipe > tbow, so by extension bofa > tbow. Bow of faerdhinen (bofa) w/crystal armor, it’s pretty much the budget t bow set up, I use the bofa set up and can get 3 trips out of an inventory with good rotations ( not the best at it). Elite void is 12,5% damage and 10% accuracy and no ranged bonus. Crystal armor with barrows gloves is 15% damage and 30% accuracy with +70 range bonus. So you'll hit nearly as hard but waaaay less accurate. I'd say plenty better than rcb, prolly gonna be a bit of a struggle if you wanna do ranged only zulrah for example.

All this is to say, the most important thing about learning Zulrah is to not get discouraged. This is a difficult and punishing boss to learn, especially if you're doing it without access to a trident or other important pieces of gear. I would generally try just 2 attempts per day or so, and found myself improving quickly.

That said, bowfa is the fucking truth. The grind is much more considerable on average though and a lot harder than Zulrah, so it's worth getting raid prayers if you can stomach using a crossbow or blowpipe there still for a little while. Bowfa makes Vasa, mystics and Olm head like 10x better than trying to use blowpipe.
