I've received two of the exotics from the lost sectors leaving a champion alive. I have finished only two lost sector with the same strat get far away from anyone and get them with scout rifle.

Legendary drop rate is around 25% on a platinum ranking. Nothing is working against you but RNG. There is no cooldown. Dude had a 30 run stretch without an exotic drop. Even if it doesn't show up as possible rewards, it does still drop exotics (shitty rng of course). I think you need yo be above 1800 for the Legend LS to show. Not sure what the exact cap is but there is some power level below which Legend LS don't show up. I ran like 7 legend lost sectors today and got 2 pairs of exotic boots (problem solved lol). No idea why but I get a lot of exotics from lost sectors, I'm happy that I don't need to run it 50 times for 1 exotic but it's just weird.
