Deception has a slight edge in terms of aoe, but is worse in every other aspect of the game. Should still be a solid choice though. PTs are still good, as are Sins. Deception is usually a pretty good choice for solo ranked, but Hatred is also a not a bad option (more so alongside tanks and healers as opposed to Deception).
