There is a shift clutch adjustment you can check, (search for service manual) but if that doesn't fix it you will need to crack the case to see what's going on in there. Now, replace all that grease with a liberal amount of ALL-temperature, White Lithium Grease. Reassemble, and your shifting will be better.
