Here is a simple mild build list that is sub $500 for everything you need engine wise. Great hp/torque and everything is bolt on other than drilling a hole in the valve cover for a pulse fitting.Unscrew it to the point that it doesn't restrict the throttle. This thing is a lot faster.

The governor hole is 1/4" and if you remove the oil sensor while you're in there it's 7/16". Tap them if possible, use fine thread bolts and red loctite. If you do the oil sensor too you'll need to cut the bolt because you won't be able to find one short 😜 enough. Just look at how deep the hole is and eyeball it.
