Berries. Gather berries in the summer, and put them in the food storage. Food that gives water for you, will work for villagers as well. Also, just make a workshop, make 50 buckets, and thats all, forget about them for a good few years xD. Borrow or Steal a Bucket and fill it up and put it in Food storage you can also use a waterskin too.
