Re: Bluestar 2E resurrection. Yeah - I had a rebuild kit for the carb when I did the whole resurrection last year. Carb was broken in the tumbling incident. The used carb we bought had to be rebuilt. I think those engines started life with an LMH and then later changed to a WHG. This motor has the WHG.

When it is switched to weld mode I get a tiny arc, not enough to stick the rod, but when it is manually idled up it will weld. The idle up solenoid is new and works. Wiring is all correct.
