Back when Gamespy shut down the master server to Neverwinter Nights, someone else basically made a master server of their own, and you could still connect to servers by use of direct connect. However, it's notable that Neverwinter Nights did not require a Gamespy account, but rather used Bioware's own servers. EA shutsdown Battlefront 2 servers, still Battlefron2 Multiplayer survives. EA loses its contract with Star Wars in a few years so they might be shut down then. Either way when the next company comes around there’ll probably be a new battlefront game to enjoy. When I first started the mission, the game froze and actually caused my XBox One X to Completely Shut Down. It also disconnected my controller and I had to press the main power button on the console.
