cut patterns in generic models. August 14, 2012, 08:47 AM. Hi, iam using cut patterns in both wall and generic models. In walls it sits perfectly, but in generic models its shows half way all the time. its not exactly sitting in centre . Could anyone please tell me why this is happening?

Swapnil. Families do not have line styles they use line patterns and subcategories (object styles). Remove the unwanted subcategories / line patterns before loading into the project. If you've already loaded the family you can still remove them through object styles/ line patterns dialogue, however this will act project wide.Structural Beams (Length) I'm trying to create a composite beam (i.e. (3) 2x10) where the number of members would be parametric using an array.
