The entire course is following the teacher's long, dull videos where she walks through financial statements and models in Excel. All you do is copy the formulas. There is very little depth, discussion, or thought when you complete the homework. That said, head TA Ida was probably the best TA I've ever had in OMSCS thanks to her quick and very specific help on the forums. I believe many OMSCS classes don't adjust the syllabus for the summer semester, so this class probably isn't the best or worst option for a summer semester. Professor Yao Xie and TAs did great jobs, very responsive in piazza. I've graduated from both OMSCS and OMSA programs, Professor Xie is the one rare Professors in this program which always there for you in Piazza, directly answering questions. Kudos for them. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to do ML jobs.
