Just from this one photo I would bet that the build quality is better on the Staccato. That doesn't mean the springfield won't be a reliable gun though. You're talking about a $900 price difference between the prodigy and a staccato p that's optic ready. I’ve seen a lot of upgraded and customized Springfield DS Prodigy’s out there that look great. I know of the QC issues with the stock Prodigy’s which seem to be fixed by upgrading some of the internals.
