He holds no office hours and chastises you if you ask for help outside of class. 4 Exams--25% of your grade each. Even though they're open note, they're impossible to get A on (trust me).

Dr. Yilmaz is a great professor who challenges his students to think on their own. His lectures are a bit dry at times but he is super helpful outside of class if you get stuck. This class can be hard at times (mainly the first half) and he doesn't make it easier with really challenging assignments, but you will learn a lot if you put in the work.
